• Like most comedy clubs there is a 2 drink minimum to help support the bar & wait staff. We have a full bar, but non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails do count towards your minimnum
• The show is partially seated - arrive early!
• To help keep show distruptions to a minimum, guests will not be sat 15 minutes after showtime
• Although all sales are final, we want to be as flexible as possible. If you can no longer make it to the show, just notify us least least 24 hours in advance of the start of the show and, in most cases, we can give you a credit towards tickets to a future date.

Welcome to The HellaFunny Olympics where the best San Francisco comedians go head-to-head against the best Oakland comedians in a classic Battle of the Bay.

Who will win? You decide!

Teams of comedians representing their city will engage in an epic joke off, trading jokes back and forth until one bombs and is eliminated. Individual comics stay as long as each joke lands. The semifinals consist of your favorite comedians of the night facing off against each other.

The last comic standing will win the coveted championship belt for their city! They also get a chance to gain residency at The Function Comedy Club.

For the first time, the club hosts co-owner Stroy Moyd for four back-to-back headliner shows during Black History Month. Don't miss this special show with Stroy and all of his favorite Bay Area comedians and some surprise guests.

Bay Area favorite, Stroy Moyd, (co-owner of The Function) has been lighting up stages in New York, LA, San Francisco, Hawaii and Europe and has shared the spotlight as one of Hannibal Buress and Dave Chappelle's local openers. You might have seen him in his recurring role on STARZ's hit show, "Blindspotting" or featured on ABC, NBC or as the 3-time winner of the Fresh Faces Comedy Competition at the LaughFactory in Hollywood.

Now is chance to see this incredible talent up close and personal in an intimate setting, right here at SF's first-ever black-owned comedy club headlining an entire weekend for the first time during Black History Month.
