Bay Area favorite, Stroy Moyd, (co-owner of The Function) has been lighting up stages in New York, LA, San Francisco, Hawaii and Europe and has shared the spotlight as one of Hannibal Buress and Dave Chappelle's local openers. You might have seen him in his recurring role on STARZ's hit show, "Blindspotting" or featured on ABC, NBC or as the 3-time winner of the Fresh Faces Comedy Competition at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood.

Now is chance to see this incredible talent up close and personal in an intimate setting, right here at SF's first-ever black-owned comedy club headlining an entire weekend.

Enjoy four back-to-back headlining sets as part of a 70+ minute show with 4-5 comics on the bill with credits like Cobbs, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, Clusterfest and Outside Lands.

• Friday - 7 PM + 9 PM - Stroy Moyd + Friends
• Saturday - 7 PM + 9 PM - Stroy Moyd + Friends
• Like all things in life, the comedy lineup is subject to change.

The Function​ has a full bar with signature cocktails, classics, draft beer, an extensive curated wine selection (with many by the glass), numerous non-alcoholic options along with special seasonal cocktail menus.

Things to Know

• Like most comedy clubs there is a 2 drink minimum to help support the bar & wait staff. We have a full bar, but non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails do count towards your minimum
• The show is partially seated - arrive early!
• To help keep show disruptions to a minimum, guests will not be sat 15 minutes after showtime
• Although all sales are final, we want to be as flexible as possible. If you can no longer make it to the show, just notify us least least 24 hours in advance of the start of the show and, in most cases, we can give you a credit towards tickets to a future date.
